Camera Ready Instructions for AuthorsCamera Ready Submission Deadline: 15th May 2026 Copyright Form:Accepted papers will receive the ACM Rights Management form from rightsreview@acm.org, and the corresponding author must complete and submit it on behalf of all authors. The paper will not be published if this electronic Rights Review form is not submitted. Note that : The title and author list on the form must match the title and author list on the final-version submission: word for word match on the title, and the names themselves, and the order of the names must match. When you finish updating and completing the ACM rights review form, a confirmation screen will appear, and a confirmation email will go to the designated contact author. Refer to this email to obtain the ACM copyright block information, conference data (acronym, publishing info, dates, locations), and DOI information to be included within the ACM template for your final version. Camera-Ready Preparation and Upload:Our conference uses the ACM Production System (TAPS) for proceedings preparation. Communication between the author and TAPS is done via e-mail; please ensure that e-mails from tapsadmin@aptaracorp.awsapps.com can be delivered to your inbox so that you don't miss any communication from TAPS. You will receive an email from TAPS that will include a link for you to access TAPS, upload your source file(s) for production processing, and later, to review the TAPS-generated PDF and HTML proofs. The workflow consists of the following steps:
You can refer to the detailed instructions to complete the above five steps. Templates:
Additional Page Fee:Each extra page beyond the standard 6 pages will be charged $150, with a maximum of 2 additional pages allowed. Contact:Publication Chair: Xiaoxuan Yang xiaoxuan@virginia.edu (Paper / publication questions) TAPS support: tapssupport@aptaracorp.com (TAPS system issues / upload / technical help) Please refer to the following information for the ACM Open Access Policy: ACM Open Access Publishing for 2026 ConferencesStarting January 1, 2026, ACM fully transitioned to Open Access publishing. All papers accepted to ACM-sponsored conferences in 2026 will be published Open Access. Authors will have two primary options for publishing Open Access articles with ACM: the ACM Open institutional model or by paying Article Processing Charges (APCs). With over 1,800 institutions already part of ACM Open, the majority of ACM-sponsored conference papers will not require APCs from authors or conferences (currently, around 70-75%). Authors from institutions not participating in ACM Open will need to pay an APC to publish their papers, unless they qualify for a financial or discretionary waiver. To find out whether an APC applies to your article, please consult the list of participating institutions in ACM Open and review the APC Waivers and Discounts Policy. Understanding that this change could present financial challenges, ACM has approved a temporary subsidy for 2026 to ease the transition and allow more time for institutions to join ACM Open. The subsidy will offer:
This represents a 65% discount funded directly by ACM. To further support authors during this transition, SIGDA will introduce a Financial Hardship Waiver (FHW) program for 2026. The initiative, jointly funded by ACM and SIGDA, will provide a limited number of waivers to cover APCs for eligible SIGDA members who are corresponding authors. More details are available on the SIGDA website https://www.sigda.org/news/sigda-financial-hardship-waiver-fhw-program-2026/. Requests will be submitted after paper acceptance (through the ACM e-rights system) and evaluated by a SIGDA-appointed committee, based on ACM’s standard criteria. By submitting your article to an ACM Publication, you are hereby acknowledging that you and your co-authors are subject to all ACM Publications Policies, including ACM's new Publications Policy on Research Involving Human Participants and Subjects. Alleged violations of this policy or any ACM Publications Policy will be investigated by ACM and may result in a full retraction of your paper, in addition to other potential penalties, as per ACM Publications Policy. Please ensure that you and your co-authors obtain an ORCID ID, so you can complete the publishing process for your accepted paper. ACM has been involved in ORCID from the start and we have recently made a commitment to collect ORCID IDs from all of our published authors. We are committed to improve author discoverability, ensure proper attribution and contribute to ongoing community efforts around name normalization; your ORCID ID will help in these efforts.
